El Ministerio de la Vivienda y Edificaciones (MIVED) avanza a ritmo acelerado los trabajos de reconstrucción de viviendas en varias provincias que resultaron afectadas por el disturbio tropical que se registró en el país el pasado fin de semana.
Este jueves, el Ministro de Vivienda, Carlos Bonilla Sánchez, se trasladó a Manoguayabo, Santo Domingo Oeste, una de las zonas más afectadas por el fenómeno atmosférico.
Al ser entrevistado en Bellas Colinas por el programa Despierta CDN, con Félix Victorino y Julissa Céspedes, Bonilla Sánchez aseguró que no quedará una sola casa afectada sin ser intervenida por el MIVED.
“Desde el primer momento que se presentó en nuestro país la situación de emergencia causada por las lluvias, el MIVED desplegó sus brigadas de acción rápida para atender a las personas más vulnerables y a todas las familias afectadas”, dijo el funcionario.
Detalló que hasta el momento, más de 40 viviendas han sido intervenidas por las brigadas del MIVED en Bellas Colinas y Lechería, en Manoguayabo.
Los equipos del MIVED se encuentran apostados en la demarcación identificando otras viviendas que podrían haber sido afectadas por el disturbio tropical que afectó al país hace varios días.
“Nuestro compromiso es darle toda la celeridad posible a la atención de esta emergencia para que ningún dominicano, afectado por las lluvias, se sienta solo o desprotegido”, puntualizó Bonilla Sánchez.
Igualmente, el MIVED realiza reparaciones de viviendas en otras zonas como el Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo Norte, Azua, San José de Ocoa y Cotuí, en Sánchez Ramírez.
Los equipos de la institución se han mantenido distribuyendo materiales y equipos de construcción para agilizar los trabajos de reparación de cerca de 7,500 viviendas perjudicadas por los torrenciales aguaceros.
Los trabajos de reconstrucción de viviendas se realizan en coordinación con las autoridades de cada una de las zonas visitadas por el Ministro Carlos Bonilla, Viceministros, Directores y brigadas del MIVED.
