VILLA JARAGUA, Bahoruco.-El ex diputado Rafael Méndez denunció que el tráfico de ilegales haitianos hacia la República Dominicana "continúa con la misma intensidad y complicidad de siempre", burlando el cierre de la frontera terrestre, aérea y marítima dispuesta por el gobierno desde hace más de dos semanas.
"Personas que trabajaban en la zona montañosa de aquí aseguran que han visto a militares sirviendo de motoconchistas a indocumentados haitianos que acaban de ingresar de manera ilegal a territorio dominicano, y oficial supervisor sorprendió a un soldados recortando en el destacamento a ilegales del vecino país", aseguró el pasado legislador.
Méndez dijo que la persona que le ofreció la información le expresó que "me indignación fue tal le reproche al militar y le dijo que mejor lo hubiera macuteando con los doscientos pesos, y no llegar al extremo de transportarlo para facilitar su llegar al destino que tiene pautado el indocumentado".
El pasado legislador dijo que la información que le ha llegado de personas que le merecen toda la credibilidad es que en la zona montañosa siguen llegando haitianos de manera ilegal con la misma intensidad de siempre, "y como si aquí no pasara nada".
