Santo Domingo.- El primer Foro Internacional de Innovación Pública bajo el lema “Presente y futuro de los servicios públicos de República Dominicana”, convocado para el miércoles 8 de febrero por el Ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ignacio Paliza, tendrá como principales expositores al Presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, al investigador, asesor urbanista y creador del concepto “Ciudad de los 15 minutos” (proyecto reconocido por ONU-Hábitat con el Premio Mundial a la Innovación Urbana 2022), Carlos Moreno, y al experto en innovación y análisis económico, Marc Vidal.
La agenda del evento contará con la participación de Samuel Pereyra Rojas, administrador general del Banco Banreservas; Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, director general de Aduanas; Peter A. Prazmowski, director ejecutivo del Consejo Nacional de Competitividad de República Dominicana, y Joel Santos Echavarría, Ministro de la Presidencia, además de importantes figuras de trascendencia nacional en la administración gubernamental.
Igualmente, durante el Foro, se realizarán dos diálogos. En el primero, se abordarán los Retos y desafíos de futuro de la innovación pública y contará con las intervenciones de Cristina Pombo, asesora del sector social del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID); Ismael Peña-López, director de la Escuela de Administración Pública de Catalunya; Aura Cifuentes, líder de ecosistema estratégico en Ágata (Agencia de Analítica de Datos de Bogotá), exdirectora de Gobierno Digital y excoordinadora del Equipo de Innovación Pública en el Gobierno de Colombia, y el asesor de comunicación y consultor político, Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí.
En el segundo diálogo, sobre Buenas prácticas internacionales relacionadas con la gobernanza participativa, la ciberseguridad, los ecosistemas de innovación pública, gobierno abierto y medición de impacto, entre otras cuestiones, participarán: Román Yosif Capdeville, exdirector ejecutivo del Laboratorio de Gobierno de Chile; Palmira Chavero, investigadora de FLACSO en Ecuador; Imanol Lasa, responsable de Estrategia y Estudios de la Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa e impulsor del proyecto Etorkizuna Eraikiz; Miguel Rego, experto en ciberseguridad y director general de la Fundación para el Desarrollo y la Innovación Tecnológica, FUNDITEC (España); Francisco Rojas Martín, presidente de la Fundación NovaGob y coordinador de la Red InnoLabsAires (España) y altos funcionarios públicos, representantes de la academia nacional, de organismos multilaterales, sector privado y sociedad civil, tal como anunció Dilia Leticia Jorge Mera, viceministra de Innovación, Transparencia y Atención Ciudadana del MAPRE.
El Foro, que será desarrollado desde las 9 de la mañana, iniciará con las palabras de bienvenida de la alcaldesa del Distrito Nacional, Carolina Mejía Gómez, y del Ministro José Ignacio Paliza, quien informó que más de 500 personas del sector público y privado, se han inscrito a través de la página web www.innovacionpublica.gob.do.
Se destaca que este evento está llamado a convertir la ciudad de Santo Domingo durante ese día en un espacio de intercambio de conversación, sobre el futuro de la Innovación Pública y de manera muy particular coloca una mirada hacia la República Dominicana.
La actividad se realizará en el salón Garden Tent del Hotel Embajador de Santo Domingo y contará con tres mesas paralelas donde se presentarán buenas prácticas de innovación a nivel nacional en ámbitos como la innovación social, la sostenibilidad y turismo, además de la innovación tecnológica, con participación de representantes del Ministerio de la Mujer, Supérate, Ministerio de la Presidencia, Ministerio de Turismo, Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas, Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes, y representantes del sector privado y académico como Universidad Iberoamericana, ADOPEM ONG; Voxel Caribe y ECORED.
